Merino Wool Blanket – A Naturally Chosen Resting Place for Dogs and Cats
Soft, breathable, and made from 100% mulesing-free New Zealand merino wool – this blanket isn’t just for pets. It becomes the place they seek out.
Merino wool has a natural ability to regulate temperature. It holds warmth in cooler seasons and allows airflow when it's warm. That makes it more than a layer — it becomes the surface dogs and cats instinctively choose over synthetic materials, which can trap heat and moisture.
Use it wherever your pet prefers to be. In their bed, on the sofa, on the go in the car, at the office, or on your next adventure. It quickly becomes part of your pet’s daily rhythm – something they return to for comfort and calm.
The texture is softly curled. The weight is just right. And unlike synthetic fibres, it doesn’t overheat, hold odour, or cause dampness.
Available in Mushroom or Pebble.
Wash on wool programme with wool detergent. Lay flat to dry.
A natural simplicity with a Scandinavian feeling — the perfect addition to your home.

Karesansui Lickmat – Designed for Calm, Enrichment, and Daily Connection
A lick mat is one of those small things that can make a big difference in everyday life. Not just because it makes mealtime last a little longer – but because it promotes calm. When your dog or cat licks, the body’s natural calming system is activated. The nervous system relaxes, and a moment of peace arises. It’s pure care – and something many pets actually need more of.
Our Karesansui Lickmat is inspired by Japanese Zen gardens, where patterns in the sand are used to create balance and clarity. Similarly, the mat’s texture invites a small daily ritual: your dog or cat can immerse themselves in a scent, a taste, a rhythm – and forget everything else for a while.
Why We Use It Every Day Ourselves
✅ Naturally soothing – especially helpful during guests, thunderstorms, or stressful moments
✅ Adds meaning to meals – great for fast eaters and detail-loving pets alike
✅ Creates healthy routines – ideal for alone-at-home training or quiet time at the end of the day
✅ Practical and stylish – made from BPA-free silicone, microwave- and freezer-safe, and actually looks good in your kitchen
✅ Easy to use – fill it with bone broth, wet food, purées, kefir, or one of our homemade recipes
A Simple Ritual You’ll Look Forward to Sharing
To make your Karesansui experience even more enriching, we’ve created 4 custom recipes just for this lick mat – each with its own texture, taste, and benefit. Discover your dog’s or cat’s favorite, and transform every meal into a sensory moment of calm and connection. Read the recipes on our blog.
An Exclusive Slowfeeder for Dogs – Inspired by Japan, Handmade in Holland
Together with Dutch ceramic artist Iris Floor, we’ve created the Stone Garden Slowfeeder – a hand-thrown ceramic bowl inspired by the quiet geometry of Japanese stone gardens. Designed for dogs, and for the spaces they share with us.
Made in the Netherlands in a limited edition of just 100 pieces, each bowl is shaped and glazed by hand, and individually numbered. The sculpted ridges inside the bowl are not just aesthetic – they help slow down eating, which may support digestion, reduce stress, and create a calmer rhythm around mealtimes.
The deep blue glaze varies slightly from piece to piece, giving each bowl its own presence and feel. Like all of our products, this one is made with intention – through a small-scale collaboration between people who care about quality, detail, and purpose.
The bowl can be washed by hand or in the dishwasher at up to 50 °C.
Why choose the Hokuō® x Iris Floor Stone Garden Slowfeeder?
✅ Designed in collaboration with ceramic artist Iris Floor
✅ Created for dogs – to support slower eating and better digestion
✅ Limited to 100 pieces – each one numbered by hand
✅ Inspired by the lines of a Japanese stone garden
✅ Hand-thrown and glazed in the Netherlands
✅ Dishwasher safe (up to 50 °C)
✅ A piece made to be used – and made to last
